This program helped me re-commit to taking care of myself and stop the downward spiral of my life. I have a renewed sense of interest in doing things I want to do or that are healthy for me and have improved my fitness enough that I have the endurance to do workouts at the gym I absolutely would not have been able to do a few months ago. As a sports person, I know the best coaches of any sort are those who inspire and bring you along to the goals you are facing, supporting you when you’re nearly spent but pushing you when you haven’t given it all you can. The process of working with Kylee on health coaching has been simply incredible. Her sweet self, encouraging and believing in me was just such a treat in and of itself, but the insight I gained about my body and the deeper thought processes behind the decisions I made was incredible! When I first began answering her questions before the initial consultation, I thought I would just get some pressure to eat better and exercise more- something I already knew I needed to do. It might have taken about 15 minutes of talking to Kylee in our consultation until I realized something very different was happening here. She began asking questions that caused me to think deeper about my health. I was in tears shortly into our consultation as I began to realize that it was about so much more than the food or movement. I have truly cherished my time with Kylee. She believed in me when I did not. She could see hope in this journey when I could not. I have a very different relationship with food and my body now than I ever have before. I have by no means arrived, but I am so thankful for the healing and help that my time with Kylee has brought. The way that she has carefully and lovingly asked deeper questions has changed the way that I think about the way that I fuel and care for my body and the way that I speak to myself. There is so much to learn, but I am so thankful for the tools that she has given me to continue to do the necessary work to have a healthier relationship with my body and the food I put into it. I joined Rendezfood to gain a better understanding of how my overall eating habits affected my quality of life, to learn the right kind of foods to eat to maintain a healthy diet, and to develop habits that would improve my overall health. Through the coaching and support of Kylee, I've made changes that I never thought would be possible. She helped me not just make the right choices but gave me a better understanding of myself and why I choose to eat the foods that I do. I do not feel as overwhelmed when I go to the grocery store. My blood pressure has gone down, and my energy levels have gone up. I have a new respect for my body and the foods that I put into it. Possibly the biggest change is that I now have an attitude that positive change can happen. I have had poor eating habits for most of my life and did not believe that I could change. At times, Kylee worried more about my own health than I did. The fact that she was so invested in wanting me to improve gave me the encouragement to make the changes that hopefully will allow me to live a longer and healthier life. Having the encouragement & support of Kylee in our weekly check-ins kept me accountable to make positive changes in my health. The most transformative aspect of the program for me was realizing what I eat affects how I feel. I've learned which foods to eat more of and which foods to limit to feel my best. Even now, six months later, I still pay attention to what I eat and how it makes me feel, prepare healthy recipes I've learned, and continue the exercises I began during the program.


My goals for the 6 month program were to have more energy, treat my body better, and to be healthy for myself and loved ones. Kylee’s encouragement is contagious - she will be your biggest cheerleader. She laughs when you laugh, she cries when you cry and rejoices when you rejoice. From teaching me to believe in and love myself, building my confidence, and helping me to know “I am enough”, having Kylee as a coach has had a profound impact on my life. She helped me to pursue my goals of sleeping better, losing weight, enjoying exercising, and improving my acid reflux by giving me action steps, suggestions, asking tough questions sometimes, and being consistent. His solutions are so simple and filled with common sense, yet it takes someone else to point them out to us instead of us being able to figure them out on our own. I began this program to lose weight, gain health, reduce pain, learn about nutrition, and eat healthy without thinking about it.
