I received my certification as a Natural Food Chef from the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver, CO, one of the longest standing holistic nutrition schools in the world. Since 1999, NTI has provided students with the highest quality training, so they can achieve thriving careers in the field of holistic health and wellness.
Prior to becoming a Natural Food Chef, I received training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition®, where I learned more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle management techniques and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.
This education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work to create a personalized “roadmap to health” that suits each client’s unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Together, we make changes that produce real and lasting results.
Before pursuing an education in holistic health, I attained a BA in Psychology and Youth Leadership & Development from Anderson University and served two years with AmeriCorps, Public Allies Indianapolis. As a Public Ally, I acquired training in asset-based community development, diversity and inclusion, strengths-based leadership, affirmative inquiry, and was certified in community leadership and transformative peer coaching.
