Gooey magic bars

GOOEY MAGIC BARS

METHOD: 

  • Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  • Add oil, milk sugar, and vanilla to saucepan. 
  • Bring to a high boil for 1 minute. 
  • Remove pan from heat. 
  • Add oats and almond butter, stir. 
  • Press mixture onto baking sheet, forming a square. 
  • Add magic sauce ingredients to saucepan.
  • Stir as you bring to a boil for 30 seconds.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Drizzle over bar, then chill.
  • Serves 15-20.

INGREDIENTS: 

MAGIC BAR:

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 c almond milk
  • 1/3  c coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c gluten free oats
  • 1/2 c almond butter

MAGIC SAUCE:

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 c cacao powder
  • 3 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 c almond milk
